Terms of Service
DELIVERY:=========
All orders are sent within 1 day of cleared payment being received. Orders received before 3PM (GMT) will be sent the same day. Orders received after 3PM (GMT) are prepared for posting & are put in a postbox so they are collected by the Royal Mail the following day in time for the last collection.

Full payment should be made at the time of ordering for the correct amount including any postage costs stated for overseas customers
There are several ways to make your payment.
1. PayPal - Payments can be made in various currencies for your convenience, UK£ Sterling, US Dollars, Australian Dollars, Japanese Yen & Euros. If you are unsure of the amount due in other currencies, please send a message to us & we will send an invoice by return in your chosen currency & payment should be made by return.

Cashiers Check - These should be made payable to COLIN LAIDLER & posted to the address noted. We will only accept Cashiers Checks in either UK£ Sterling or US Dollars & should be drawn on a UK registered bank.
Personal Checks - Should be made Payable to COLIN LAIDLER & sent to the address noted. We can only accept Personal Checks from residents of the United Kingdom, The European Union, Australia or The United States in the currency of your country of residence. We do also require proof of residency, (Not required for UK residents), a copy of which should be sent with your check. Proof of residency sent should be dated within the previous 3 month & be one of the following, a copy of the information page of your passport, a driving license, a utility bill e.g. gas, electric, bank/credit card statement, (For privacy please block out any financial & account number details, we only need to see the company name, your address & the date the document was issued).
Travelers Checks & Money Orders - We can only accept Travelers Checks issued by American Express, Non UK or USA residents can use this facility, but the checks should be in either UK£ Sterling or US Dollars only. Money Orders are only accepted from residents of the United States & issued by a reputable company & should be in US Dollars. Both methods of payment should have the payee completed, (Payable to Colin Laidler), & posted to the address noted.
As payments made with PayPal are instant orders will be processed as above.
Payments made using any other method will delay dispatch of your order, it will be sent when our bank has confirmed clear funds are available. Dispatch will be made using the 3PM (GMT) cut off time as noted above on the day of clearing.
We can only accept payments in the amount of your order, we are unable to accept any payments that exceed the amount due. We adhere to all Money Laundering Regulations put in place by the UK Government or any regulatory agency worldwide. If we do receive payments that exceed the payment amount due, we will notify the appropriate agency in the UK &/or the agency concerned in you country of residence. We will not make any payments to you of the additional amount unless requested to do so by a government agency or regulatory agency.
TAX PAYMENTS

In some cases we will need to add an amount to an invoice to cover any specific taxes required by overseas governments. In particular:
AUSTRALIA - 10% of the amount due for the goods only, (Postage costs are not taxable), so as to conform to the legislation put in place by the Australian Government recently requiring all items imported into Australia that were manufactured overseas are now subject to GST at 10%.
UNITED STATES - I have been informed that postage costs only are taxable on a state by state basis, i.e. Idaho requires 8.5% to be taken on postage costs charged. It will be clearly noted on your invoice the rate for your state.
WORLDWIDE - We are not currently aware of any tax regulations that may effect your order, however I will check for information on this as & when orders come from other countries.
If you are unsure of the correct amount due please message us for details & we will issue an invoice by email which should be paid by return.
Please note that all tax amounts collected are sent directly to the tax collection authority that imposed the charge in line with their required payment methods & timescales agreed when we registered with the agency. We act only as a collector of tax on behalf of the tax authority in question & any queries you have regarding this should be directed to your local Tax Office as we would be unable to offer advice on this, we can only implement the current Policies or Legislation set by overseas governments.
PACKING - We always send orders safely packed so as to prevent any damage in transit. Ideally we want you to receive your order in the same condition it was sent in. We want you to receive your order in the same manner & condition we would expect to receive it in ourselves.
CD'S & DVD'S - All discs are tested & cleaned before dispatch. We also would replace any cases that are damaged, subject to availability of replacements, where possible. Occasionally a suitable replacement is not available from the stock we hold, i.e. Double & Multi Disc Albums.
Some CD's come in a card case, we never replace covers of this type as they do contain information about the album/artist & may contain other information that is required by law to be printed on the item.
All CD's & DVD's we sell are genuine products, we never sell products that are copied from originals, boot legged or any other form of counterfeiting.
All postcards offered for sale are sent in a clear plastic wallet & posted in a cardboard backed envelope.
Many are unused & in excellent condition. If a card has been through the postal system details & condition of the stamps & postmark will be noted. Please note that the color of the stamp is our interpretation only & may differ slightly from the official color name used by the issuing Postal Service & in the Stanley Gibbons guides.
